The Terrace, located at the top of the Swatch Art Peace Museum was one of the first terraces of Shanghai when the hotel was built in 1908. It is now a lovely outside terrace totally outdoor just next to its famous neighbour, the Bar Rouge, well know by the Shanghai jet set. Palm trees and white sofas make this place exotic and cosy, so far away from the city crowd which prevail few meters lower. It is hard to get bored by the heteroclite spectacle which is performing along the Bund, at the foot of the building, on the Huangpu River and on the Pudong district which is facing us. When the sun sets I was particularly impressed by the pallet of colours offered by the view. Could be able to enjoy my cocktail at the pace of the Pudong towers lights and boats will remain a magical moment!
